The ECC offers membership opportunities to all teens residing in Easton (Middle School & High School). Each student wishing to become a member must complete a membership form and agree to abide by the rules governing such membership including the ECC ‘Code of Conduct’.
- Members and parents are required to sign the ‘Code of Conduct’ and liability waiver.
- Membership allows free access to the ECC Teen Center and Open Gym use of all equipment during designated hours.
- There may be a small cover charge for some special events. Such charges will be kept to a minimum and should not exceed $10.00 per participant. A surcharge may be applied to guests.
- Programs/events may be offered that are age specific and thus restricted to members to which these pertain (eg; 7 & 8 Grade Dances, Acoustic Café and Band Nights).
- Teens 13 and older utilizing the gym during open times must become a Teen Center Member; forms are available at the front desk or here.
The ECC Teen Center has been designed to provide a safe, fun environment where our members and their guests, grades 6–12, can relax and enjoy the many features we have to offer.
This commitment is reflected in the design of the 3500 square foot teen center complete with juice/coffee bar, snow cone machine, waffle makers, a wide variety of game tables, video games, arcade games, Juke box, large projection screen and a lounge area to relax and enjoy.
The Teen Center programs include, but are not limited to, dances, band nights, comedy evenings, movie nights and special events.
During the designated times, the Teen Center is a space to relax, utilize the equipment and enjoy the company of friends free of charge. For the most part, the Teen Center is open for your use free of charge during Teen Center hours. Friday and Saturday nights may have designated special events where a small cover charge may be involved. Due to the age range of our members we may need to make some of these events specific to certain groups. This will be clearly stated in the program description. Please refer to our specific Middle and High School Hours on Friday and Saturday nights respectively.
During regular hours of operation, members and their guests will be permitted to come and go at will. The exception will be for some special events where a ‘closed door’ policy may be adopted. A ‘closed door’ policy does not allow for departure and re-entry after initial admission.
Parents – the teen center will always be fully supervised by our professional staff. Each of the staff has been hand picked for their abilities and experience working with the age group the facility serves. Background checks will be conducted for all staff employed at the ECC. All reasonable efforts will be made to help make your child’s visit to the Teen Center an enjoyable one.
